It was announced by the official website Shirobako anime that the anime will premiere on October 9th on the Tokyo MX at 11:30 pm. It was also announced that Shirobako will be adapted into a manga, which will be released on September 27th in the November issue of Monthly Dengeki Daioh .
Yoko Ishida will perform the opening theme, “Colorful Box”, and Juri Kimura , Haruka Yoshimura , and Haruka Chisuga will perform the ending theme, “Animetic Love Letter”.
The anime, titled Shirobako , revolves around the daily lives of 5 girls who work in the anime industry, showing the challenges and conflicts that each of them faces. The anime is produced by PA Works , directed by Tsutomu Mizushima , character designs by Ponkan8 , and supervised by Michiko Yokote .
