Shisha no Teikoku (The Empire of Corpses) has a new trailer that hits theaters across Japan on October 2nd.
The film is one of three adaptations of the Project Itoh (Satoshi Itō) novels, including Genocidal Organ and Harmony . Directed by Ryoutarou Makihara, animation is done by Wit Studio (Attack on Titan).
The story takes place in Europe in the 19th century, with John Watson, he is watched by the government to become a secret agent. Watson lives in a world where “Frankenstein” human corpses are reused with souls to help industrial workers.
