The live-action Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) film confirmed not one, but two sequels this summer! Even though the entire story up to the Oni Gang is told in just one two-and-a-half-hour film, the production will continue Shishio's saga with two films.
-The first will be about the Great Fire of Kyoto, probably placing the Juppongatana group as the main villains, and Shishio as the man behind the curtains.
The second film will be about "The End of the Legend," which will surely culminate in Saito and Kenshin's final battle against the villain Shishio Makoto.
The big news is the first official image of the character Shishio, who will be played by Fujiwara Tatsuya (who played Shuya Nanahara in Battle Royale and Light Yagami in the Death Note films).
