Shokugeki no Soma - Anime gets 5th season

We have confirmation of the 5th season of the anime Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars). The new season has been officially titled Shokugeki no Sōma: Gō no Sara.

The premiere takes place in April 2020.

The fourth season, based on the manga by Yūto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki, premiered on October 11th with 12 episodes.

Crunchyroll is finally streaming the series. Yoshitomo Yonetani is returning to direct the anime at JC Staff.
