With the end of the last episode of Shonen Hollywood (Shōnen Hollywood – Holly Stage for 49-) the producer decided to announce its continuation for 2015. The premiere of the second season arrives in January.
The anime is inspired by the mix of projects by author Ikuyo Hashiguchi. Shonen Hollywood is produced by anime studio ZEXCS (Diabolik Lovers, Cuticle Tantei Inaba) and record label Starchild Records. Original Shogakukan Bunko published Hashiguchi Shonen Hollywood's popular novel in July 2012.
The anime will tell an original story, set 15 years after the story of the novel. It takes place in a fictional theater called Tokyo Hollywood in Harajuku, where the members of the “Shonen Hollywood” idol group will improve their skills through diligent study and hard work.
