My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

A surprise that unites two universes: Weekly Shonen Jump and Pokémon have announced an unprecedented collaboration, and the highlight is none other than Eiichiro Oda , creator of One Piece . He drew a special illustration featuring Luffy and Pikachu , which is on the cover of issue 36/37 of the magazine, released on August 4th in Japan.

Furthermore, other authors also participated with exclusive artwork. For example, Shuhei Miyazaki , author of Boku to Roboco , united Roboco and Mega Blaziken in a vibrant illustration. Meanwhile, Kouji Miura , responsible for Ao no Hako , brought Chinatsu and Totodile together in a charming scene. These illustrations foreshadow the strength of this creative and nostalgic collaboration.

Exclusive covers, stickers, and promotional items

And that's not all! Issue 38 of Jump, scheduled for August 18th, will feature exclusive stickers with artwork of the characters and Pokémon. In addition, a special giveaway with prizes based on these collaborative artworks—an unmissable opportunity for collectors.

This partnership between Jump and Pokémon celebrates the cultural impact of both franchises and offers a visual treat to fans of both brands, blending adventure and nostalgia in every detail.
