Impact on the development of Bloodstained 2

Bloodstained 2 production team . Koji Igarashi, the series creator and known as the "father" of Bloodstained , commented on the situation, stating that Ida's health is a priority and that the team will do everything possible to continue development. Team expectations and commitments

The developers crowdfunded and released the first game in the series, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, in 2019. In 2021, they began sharing early information about the sequel, but development is still in its early stages. The ArtPlay team has previously stated that they intend to fulfill all pledges made during the Kickstarter campaign before committing to the new version.

Shutaro Ida's departure raises concerns about the project's continuity and the development team's next steps. For now, the team has not released any additional information about the game's progress or detailed how it intends to address this situation.
