Synopsis
The story of the anime takes place in a not-so-ordinary country town, where a big and strange event is happening to its inhabitants. However, a young girl named Shizuru Chikura has a strong desire to see her lost friend again. But Shizuru and three other girls board an abandoned train and head to the outside world, where survival is not certain. What awaits them at the last stop of the “Doomsday Train?”
Finally, Kadokawa announced the anime in celebration of Railway Workers' Day, the 150th anniversary of Japan's first railway, which took place in October 2022.
