Synopsis
The anime's story takes place in an unusual, rural town where a strange and momentous event is unfolding among its inhabitants. A young girl named Shizuru Chikura desperately wants to see her lost friend again. However, Shizuru and three other girls board an abandoned train and venture into the outside world, where survival is uncertain. What awaits them at the final stop of the "Doomsday Train?"
Finally, Kadokawa announced the anime in commemoration of Railroad Workers' Day, the 150th anniversary of Japan's first railroad, which took place in October 2022.
