The original Kadokawa anime, titled “Shuumatsu Train Doko e Iku?” received new information today (11), which concerns the voice responsible for the anime's protagonist.

Therefore, voice actress Chika Anza will voice the character Shizuru Chikura. Furthermore, more information about the anime will be revealed in a special program on July 30th.
The anime's tagline is "I wonder if we were friends."
Tsutomu Mizushima (Girls und Panzer, Shirobako) is directing the anime. Kadokawa announced the anime in commemoration of Railway Day, the 150th anniversary of Japan's first railroad.
