SHY – Anime gets new promotional video

The official website for the anime adaptation of Bukimi Miki's SHY manga revealed that the anime will premiere in October on TV Tokyo. In addition, the website also released a new image, a promotional video, the artist of the opening song, more voice actors and more members of the production team.

New voice actors

  • Nao Tōyama as Iko Koishikawa
  • Tomokazu Sugita as Ebio (Shrimpy)
  • Mamiko Noto as Spirit
  • Shinichiro Miki as Stardust
  • Sayumi Suzushiro as Lady Black
  • Ayumu Murase as Mian Long
  • Kikuko Inoue as Unilord

Voice actress Shino Shimoji (Aikatsu!, Hakumei and Mikochi), in turn, will play Teru Momijiyama, a character also known as Shy.

Synopsis

Just as the planet was approaching its third world war, therefore, super-powered individuals from all over the world appeared to keep the peace. They have become the symbols of their respective nations, furthermore, fighting to limit crime and bring evildoers to justice. However, teenage heroine Teru “Shy” Momijiyama is Japan's representative in the world of heroes. When a mysterious threat called Amalareiks emerges, Shy must team up with his fellow heroes to stop them at all costs.

Finally, author Bukimi Miki first published the work in Weekly Shonen Champion as a one-shot manga in January 2017 and began serializing the manga in the same magazine in August 2019.
