Episode 12 of the first season has come to an end, and with it it was revealed that Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia) will soon be getting a second season. A short teaser for a second season was shown , titled Sidonia no Kishi : Dai-kyū Wakusei Seneki ( Knights of Sidonia : War of the Ninth Planet).

The teaser also added that a “ premium event” will be held on November 23rd with the screening of the first two episodes of the new season.

The first season will premiere on Netflix on July 4th, with English subtitles.
