According to news from the Gamescom on Tuesday, Sony included in its presentation the first teaser for the new game in the Silent Hill , which may be called Silent Hills. In the video, a man appears walking through an abandoned city, and when he turns to the camera we can see that the digital character has the features of actor Norman Reedus , Daryl from The Walking Dead.
The video also states that Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, is in charge of the new game alongside Mexican filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro. For now, there are no further details. The reveal can also be seen on the PS Store, where a demo called “PT” was made available today. This demo is actually an interactive teaser.
When the player/viewer reaches the final scene, Reedus's presence in the new Silent Hill is revealed, along with the involvement of Del Toro and Kojima. Fun fact: Reedus's first film role was in Mimic, a 1997 film by Del Toro.
