After the release of its Teaser, PT, from the PlayStation Store and after Del Toro announced the dismissal of Hideo Kojima from the game's production, Silent Hills, which would be released for Playstation 4, was officially cancelled. The news was given through the following tweet:
Konami is committed to new Silent Hill titles, however, the embryonic 'Silent Hills' project developed with Guillermo del Toro and with the likeness of Norman Reedus will not be continued.
In terms of Kojima and Del Toro being involved, discussions about future Silent Hill projects are ongoing, and please stay tuned for more news.
Anyone who downloaded the Teaser will be able to play it normally.
