Skull Dragon's Precious Daughter Anime Reveals Trailer and Cast

The anime Skull Dragon’s Precious Daughter (Hone Dragon no Mana musume) unveiled its first promotional video, official visual, and main voice cast. The adaptation of Ichi Yukishiro's manga is scheduled to premiere in 2027.

Announced by Kadokawa this Thursday (8), the project confirmed Kana Hanazawa as Eve, a girl abandoned in the Forest of Discards, and Kazuhiko Inoue as Nemu, the skeletal dragon who raises her as his daughter.

Production staff
Kuniyasu Nishina, known for his work on episodes of Oshi no Ko and Blue Period, is directing the series at Doga Kobo. Yuka Yamada handles the series scripts, while Tomoya Atsumi is responsible for the character designs.
Meanwhile, Daiki Kuribayashi and Yuki Hatakeyama are in charge of the background art.
Anime story
The story follows Eve, who survives the dangers of a forest where all sorts of things are discarded. At age five, however, she is taken in by Nemu, an elderly dragon nearing death. After losing her adoptive father, the girl discovers that their bond may extend beyond death. With his resurrected body growing weaker, Nemu sets off on an adventure alongside Eve to help her control her magical powers.
Thus, the manga debuted in 2020 on Mag Garden's Mag Comi website. Additionally, the series went on hiatus in July 2026, with a return planned for spring 2027.
