Slam Dunk film has a release date set. According to the official website, the film will arrive in the fall of 2022 .
The direction is by Takehiko Inoue at Toei Animation , Yasuyuki Ebara ( Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress ) designs the characters.
Synopsis:
Hanamichi Sakuragi , a troubled young man, falls in love with Haruko Akagi after enrolling at Shohoku High School. From then on, the stubborn Hanamichi begins to get involved in sports, becoming part of a team, and developing as an athlete and a person.
Finally, the manga was published in Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1996, totaling 31 volumes. The work inspired an anime in 1993 and received four sequels.
