A special event was held at the Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo to celebrate the conclusion of the anime spinoff Sokyu no Fafner Behind the Line
The anime's technical team revealed the anime's second promotional video, which features the duo Angela's theme song “Start again,” during the event.
The anime will begin its special screening in Japanese cinemas from January 20th.
Synopsis
Tatsumiyajima is the central island of a small archipelago in an isolated part of Japan. Not much happens there, so much so that the island's young people go to school knowing that their lives should continue peacefully and without problems... At least that's what it was taught to them, but the truth is different. The future of humanity is in danger and Tatsumiyajime is the last line of defense against a mysterious enemy. To fight for the continuity of human existence, a giant robot named Fafner is the protection for humanity's last treasure.
