The highly anticipated second season of Solo Leveling , titled Arise From the Shadow , is about to be released on January 4, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time (12:30 p.m. Eastern Time) in Brazil at 2:30 p.m. Brazil on Crunchyroll . The new season will be available exclusively to Crunchyroll subscribers, with no plans to air on other platforms such as Disney Plus, Hulu, Netflix or HiDive.

What to expect from season 2?

The first episode features Sung Jinwoo Jinah 's school reunion . A teacher asks for his help in convincing a classmate not to drop out of school to become a Huntress. Jinwoo takes the young girl to observe the beginners' training, but the plan backfires on them through a dangerous red portal. However, trapped in a high-level dungeon with a snowy landscape and powerful monsters, they face challenges that test Jinwoo's growing powers.

The season will cover the Red Gate Arc, adapting chapters 46 to 63 of the manhwa, and possibly progress to other arcs, such as the Demon Castle and the Retest. Additionally, Jinwoo will continue his quest to create the Elixir of Life and save his mother, while unraveling the crucial role he plays in the war between the Monarchs and Regents.

Finally, the first season of Solo Leveling premiered in Japan on January 6, 2024, and was simultaneously broadcast on Crunchyroll's streaming services.
