The highly anticipated second season of Solo Leveling , titled Arise From the Shadow , is about to be released on January 4, 2025 at 9:30 am Pacific Time (12:30 pm Eastern Time), in Brazil at 2:30 pm Brazil on Crunchyroll . The new season will be available exclusively to Crunchyroll subscribers, with no plans to air it on other platforms such as Disney Plus, Hulu, Netflix or HiDive.
What to expect from season 2?
The first episode shows Sung Jinwoo Jinah 's school reunion . A teacher asks for your help to convince a classmate not to abandon her studies to become a hunter. Jinwoo takes the young woman to observe the beginners' training, but the plan goes astray into a dangerous red portal. However, trapped in a high-level dungeon with a snowy setting and powerful monsters, they face challenges that put Jinwoo's growing powers to the test.
The season will cover the Red Portal Arc, adapting chapters 46 to 63 of the manhwa, and will possibly advance to other arcs, such as Demonic Castle and Retest. Additionally, Jinwoo will continue on his quest to create the Elixir of Life and save his mother, while uncovering the crucial role he plays in the war between Monarchs and Rulers.
Finally, the first season of Solo Leveling premiered in Japan on January 6, 2024, simulcast on Crunchyroll's streaming services.
