Netmarble has announced a new title based on the universe of Lighting Soil: The Arise Overdrive game, revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase of June 8. Unlike lightning soil: Arise, this release promises a significant reformulation of combat style, progression system and multiplayer structure. The proposal is to offer a more strategic and affordable experience, without depending on the gacha mechanics for progression.

What changes in relation to lightning soil: Arise?
Despite following the same original webtoon narrative, following the evolution of the rank hunter and, Sung Jinwoo, Arise Overdrive bets on important changes. The main change is in the combat system. Now, the player can perform actions such as blockages, trim extreme attacks and dodge, requiring greater technical dominance in battles.
Also, before entering the portals, it is possible to choose between four distinct combat styles: killer, duelist, elemental and regent. Each has a different degree of difficulty, directly influencing the attributes of Jinwoo and the type of weapon that can be equipped.
System without Gacha and Focus on Crafting Progression
One of Arise Overdrive's greatest innovations is the elimination of Gacha's system. Instead of luck to obtain characters and equipment, the player can use materials purchased during the phases to manufacture weapons and items. In addition, customization is based on the chosen combat style, creating a fairer and merit -based progression.
To recruit other hunters, the "negotiation" system comes into play. The player will use commemorative coins to try to hire allies, adjusting the proposal according to the chances of success. The absence of banners and roulettes reinforces the proposal of a more affordable and less -dependent game game.
Cooperative mode in real time expands experience
Another important addition is real -time multiplayer mode, allowing up to four players to make teams to face bosses in cooperative missions. The lobbies system facilitates the entry into existing groups or the creation of personalized sessions based on the chapter and type of monster faced.
This functionality brings an unprecedented social element to the franchise, bringing players closer to combat styles and complementary goals. In addition, teamwork will be essential to overcome the most complex challenges, making gameplay more dynamic and strategic.
Equipment and artifacts with exclusive effects
The game also introduces a new set of artifacts that can be equipped in both Jinwoo and hired hunters. The names and effects are different from those seen on lightning soil: Arise, and each item can be decisive in performance during missions. Equipment management becomes a fundamental part of the strategy, requiring attention to team assembly and choosing resources.
Launch and available platforms
Netmarble launches Light Light Soling: Arise Overdrive for PC via Steam still in 2025. Xbox users will be able to play from the American fall, with confirmed versions for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Cloud in 2026. In addition, Steam already offers the demonstration, and players add the title to the list of wishes on Microsoft Store to receive updates.
Lighting solo expectations: Arise Overdrive
With significant changes in mechanics and game philosophy, Arise Overdrive represents a bold Netmarble step in the evolution of the light solo franchise. Thus, by abandoning criticized monetization systems, such as Gacha, and prioritizing a fairer and more immersive experience, the new title promises to expand the reach of the work between old fans and new players.
Overdrive is expected to become not only an alternative, but a new standard within anime and webtoons licensed games. The bet on refined gameplay, tactical combat and cooperation between players can turn the way the audience interacts with Jinwoo's universe in the digital environment.
