Solo Leveling fans are still eager for news about Season 3 , but as recently revealed, the wait may be longer than expected. During a Q&A hosted by Raquel Harris , Aniplex producer Sota Furuhashi A-1 Pictures animation producer Atsushi Kaneko shared their perspectives on the series' future.

The conversation was relaxed, but it brought up important reflections. Furuhashi even joked when he answered: " I think that was the hardest question of the night. I'm also eagerly awaiting a third season! But honestly, between the first and second seasons, we created 220,000 frames of animation ." The number surprised the audience, and he added: " I'd like to give the animators some breathing room. If it were up to me, I'd say: let's wait until the next Olympics to see what happens with season 3 of Solo Leveling ."

The future of Solo Leveling depends on the energy of fans

Kaneko, in turn, responded symbolically, comparing the situation to Dragon Ball 's Genki Dama . " It doesn't just depend on me or Furuhashi-san. You know how the Genki Dama works. We need the energy of all Solo Leveling fans around the world to decide whether we'll have a third season ." As he spoke, Kaneko even raised his arms, imitating Goku's classic gesture.

Furthermore, the producers highlighted the challenges of balancing the series' global popularity with A-1 Pictures' tight schedule. After all, as Crunchyroll CEO Rahul Purini , there's a high demand for new anime, and finding the right time to start a new production requires planning.

While we wait, we can only hope that the " power of the fans " will bring news soon. Want to keep up to date with everything Solo Leveling ? Follow AnimeNew on WhatsApp and Instagram .
