D&C webtoon creative director Kwak Hea-eun revealed in an interview that the live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling is now in production. However, the director emphasizes that the live-action is a South Korean drama, that is, a drama.

In an interview with the French newspaper Linternaute , the director states that the spin-off series Solo Leveling: Ragnarok will be available in 2024. Furthermore, she also reveals that the work will have an adaptation as a Korean drama, which should arrive next year.
“In early 2024, you will be able to read the webtoon version of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, the spin-off that takes place in the universe imagined by ChuGong, the scenario is designed by Daul and the graphic adaptation will be produced by Estúdio Redice. And I can give you another tip: a Korean Solo Leveling drama is in the works, so be ready.”
Synopsis:
The story takes place ten years ago, after the “Portal” that connects the real world with a world of monsters was opened, however some ordinary people received the power to hunt the monsters in the portal. They are known as hunters. However, not all hunters are strong. My name is Sung Jin-Woo, an E rank hunter. I am someone who has to risk his life in the weakest dungeons, “The weakest in the world”. But without having any skills at my disposal, I can barely make money in low-level dungeons… At least until I find a hidden dungeon with the highest difficulty within Rank D! In the end, while accepting my death, I gained new power.
