The adaptation of the manga Somali to Mori no Kamisama received several details, including a new trailer and poster with visuals of the anime this Monday (26). The news was released on the anime's official website
Directed by Kenji Yasuda and animated by studio Satelight , the anime will premiere in the winter 2020 season. The production team also includes Ikuto Itoh , who works as character designer and screenwriter. The music is composed by Ryo Moriyama , and the opening and ending themes are by Naotarou Moriyama and Inori Minase, respectively.
Yuu Kobayashi also joins the cast, which was previously announced.
"The world is controlled by spirits, goblins, and all sorts of strange creatures. Humans are persecuted to the point of extinction. One day, a golem and a lonely human girl meet. This is a record of the pair; a member of a ruined race, and a guardian of the forest. They tell the stories of their travels together, and of their bond as father and daughter."
