Visually different, SEGA presents Sonic Boom , the new game featuring Sonic and all his friends. Sega's strategy is to launch a TV series with the same name, Sonic Boom, which is expected to begin airing this year on Cartoon Network. The game's story will run parallel to the series.
Sonic appears in the game with a new look, wearing a kind of scarf and bandages on his arms and feet, along with him, also with new looks, Knuckles, Tails and Amy.
Sonic Boom will be exclusive to the Wii U , the main story mode can be played as co-op by two players, other game modes can have up to 4 players.
Nintendo is also wasting no time and will release a version for 3DS, which will have the graphics and level architecture redefined for the portable.
