The sequel to the Sonic has been made official by Paramount Pictures and will have Director Jeff Fowler and screenwriters Pat Casey and Josh Miller back for the new film.
The sequel, which will hit theaters , will be produced by Neal H. Moritz , Toby Ascher , and Toru Nakahara . For now, there is no confirmation on whether Ben Schwartz , James Marsden , and Jim Carrey will return to the franchise, although there is a good chance the trio will return to their respective roles.
Ultimately, Sonic the Hedgehog made $300 million Detective Pikachu 's records in the process.
