There's an announcement on the official website for the anime "Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru" ( My Dress-Up Darling ). According to reports, the announcement is for a special event to be held on September 17th with an important announcement for the series.
The event will feature guest appearances by Hina Suguta , Shouya Ishige, Atsumi Tanezaki , and Hina Youmiya , the voices of Marin Kitagawa , Wakana Gojou , Sajuna Inui , and Shinju Inui , respectively.
There will also be special appearances by Spira Spica and Akari Akase , who performed the theme songs for the animation project, which will likely be the second season of the popular anime.
Synopsis:
Wakana Gojou is an insecure hina doll maker, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, a longtime skilled hina doll artist. While Gojou loves his hobby passionately, he isolates himself socially at school, believing he will be ridiculed for what he does. Having not made a single friend during his school years, his grandfather worries about him.
One day in class, a girl hits her head on Gojou . She apologizes to him before reuniting with her friends. Gojou identifies her as Marin Kitagawa , an incredibly cheerful, friendly, and popular girl in his class, noting that "she lives in a completely different world from him." But their paths cross, and because Marin is extremely friendly, she begins to talk to him more often and becomes his friend.
The anime premiered in January of this year and had a total of 12 episodes produced by the studio Cloverwoks . The series became a public phenomenon with each episode released.
The manga My Dress-Up Darling was published in Young Gangan in January 2018.
Finally, we still don't have confirmation for a second season of Sono Bisque Doll .
