Shouta Umehara , animation producer at CloverWorks , published a note on social media revealing that the production of a sequel to the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda , Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru ( My Dress-Up Darling ), was not planned.
Sono Bisque Doll Season 2 wasn't in the studio's plans
In his post, he wrote:
"Congratulations on the announced continuation of Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru! It's not that a second season was planned, but it was due to the support of everyone who watched the anime and went crazy for it, and everyone who bought the merchandise and all kinds of products! This is crazy because this wasn't in my plans, but I'll do my best as long as there are people interested in seeing my work!"
The first season premiered during the January/2022 in Japan and had a total of twelve episodes.
Synopsis:
“In short, Wakana Gojou is a hina doll craftsman, one day he ends up meeting a girl at school who is a cosplay fanatic and since then, he becomes friends with her and ends up sewing clothes for her to make her much desired cosplays.”
