The official website for the Sorcerous Stabber Orphen (Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi) anime announced on Monday that the new anime arc will premiere on April 12 . In addition, it revealed the artists of the theme song and a new promotional video.

Showtaro Morikubo , who voices Orphen and has performed previous opening themes for the show, is performing the new opening theme song “Motive Rain”. The anime staff revealed a clip of the new ending theme song “Shuen no Destiny” by Mai Fuchigami .
It's worth noting that Mai Fuchigami also featured previous ending themes for the anime.
New Sanctuary Arc cast members include:
- Yoko Hikasa as Azalie
- Akira Ishida as Armagest
- Hiroki Yasumoto as Jack
- Satoshi Hino as Pluto
- Tomoko Kaneda as Princess of the Silver Moon
Yoshinobu Akita began the light novel in 1994 with illustrations by Yuya Kusaka . The new anime is celebrating the franchise's 25th anniversary.
Akita debuted a new volume in December 2019, the first new volume in the light novel series in four years.
Synopsis
Orphen is a powerful wizard who is clearly lazy. Everything changes when he finds a way to save his sister, who has been transformed into a dragon. Betrayed by his friends who refuse to help, even alone, Orphen will do anything to find her.
