The official website for the Sorcerous Stabber Orphen (Majutsushi Orphen Haguretabi) anime revealed three cast members and promotional art for the Sanctuary Arc , which will be shown in the anime.

The newly announced cast includes:

  • Takuya Nakashima as Seek
  • Shimba Tsuchiya as Kakorkist
  • Yuna Kamakura as Irgitte

New Sanctuary Arc cast members also include:

  • Yoko Hikasa as Azalie
  • Akira Ishida as Armagest
  • Hiroki Yasumoto as Jack
  • Satoshi Hino as Pluto
  • Tomoko Kaneda as Princess of the Silver Moon

The Sanctuary Arch will debut on April 12th.

Showtaro  Morikubo , who voices Orphen and has performed previous opening themes for the show, is performing the new opening theme song “Motive Rain”. The anime staff revealed a clip of the new ending theme song “Shuen no Destiny” by Mai  Fuchigami .

It's worth noting that Mai Fuchigami also featured previous ending themes for the anime.

Yoshinobu  Akita began the light novel in 1994 with illustrations by Yuya  Kusaka . The new anime is celebrating the franchise's 25th anniversary.

Akita debuted a new volume in December 2019, the first new volume in the light novel series in four years.

Synopsis

Orphen is a powerful wizard who is clearly lazy. Everything changes when he finds a way to save his sister, who has been transformed into a dragon. Betrayed by his friends who refuse to help, even alone, Orphen will do anything to find her.
