The manga SoreDemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru ( Even So, Ayumu Approaches ) by author Soichiro Yamamoto will be adapted into an anime . According to official Twitter , the anime will arrive sometime in 2022.

Soichiro Yamamoto is already known for Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san, as well as mixing comedy and romance.
Finally, the story follows Tanaka Ayumu and Yaotome Urushi. Ayumu likes Urushi, and he wants to confess all his love to her, but he only wants to do that when he defeats her in a shogi match, and she is very good at shogi.
