Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii , an adaptation of Dai Shiina has begun airing on Japanese television The anime will premiere on April 5th on NTV .

Synopsis – The manga revolves around Nike , a determined princess who possesses a mysterious power: she can control rain. After losing a game of rock, paper, scissors to her older sisters, she is forced to marry the king of the United Sun Kingdom, Livius I. Livius conquered the world in three years and is known as the “Terrible King.” However, when Nike meets him for the first time, she discovers, to her surprise, that he is a younger boy than she is. Livius abruptly asks Nike to summon the rain, and when she refuses, he has her thrown into jail. The story follows the two who, although at first a couple in name only, gradually begin to establish an emotional bond with each other.
Shiina wrote two one-shots for the manga in 2009 and 2011 in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine, and then launched the complete series in the same magazine in 2012. Hakusensha will publish the sixth compiled volume on January 20.
