Soukyuu no Fafner - Franchise gets new anime

During the event "Sōkyū no Fafner THE BEYOND in Pacifico Yokohama Day 1: Sōshi Minashiro Birthday Party 2021" it was revealed that the franchise will get a new anime . According to information the series is a spinoff called Soukyuu no Fafner Behind the Line .

Therefore, Behind the Line is a standalone story with just one episode. The project was promised to fans during the "Sōshi Minashiro Birthday Party 2017" as a "peaceful spinoff."

Finally, the final episodes of the anime Soukyuu no Fafner: The Beyond premiered in Japanese theaters on November 5th. The DVD/BD will also be released on March 16th, 2022.
