The game, developed by Insomniac Games, will continue the adventure of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, who face the villain Venom with unique abilities, now adapted for computer players. The announcement reinforces Sony's strategy of expanding access to its main releases.

The PC version features improved graphics, with support for ray tracing, which significantly improves light and shadow effects. At launch, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will feature two editions: the “Standard Edition” and the “Digital Deluxe Edition”. Both versions will bring all the content already released for the PlayStation 5, including new costumes, improved difficulty levels and exclusive achievements.
The Standard Edition will offer the full game with all the latest patches and updates. It will have the “New Game+” mode and 14 new costumes, including versions of the Symbiote Costume. On the other hand, the Digital Deluxe Edition will bring additional benefits, such as exclusive costumes for Peter Parker and Miles Morales, as well as early unlocks of special items and technique points.
Nixxes Software and the PC adaptation
Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software have joined forces to develop the PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Gamers can expect graphical improvements that take advantage of the advanced hardware, with numerous customization options. These include higher resolutions and detailed performance settings.
