Last week surprised Spy X Family fans, who eagerly awaited chapter 115, but found different content from expected. Instead of the unfolding of the main story, Tatsuya Endo's work has given readers a parallel mission centered on Fiona Frost, agent notoriously in love with Loid Forger.

Extra chapter brings tension, vulnerability and emotional development
The special story that replaced chapter 115 received the title “Short Mission 15” and takes place at Berlint General Hospital. The plot begins when director Gerald Gorey, Loid's superior at the hospital façade, forces him to visit Fion Frost, who was absent for health reasons.
Loid, still suspicious that Fiona is dealing with the consequences of her last secret mission, reluctantly accepts the task. However, its goal is double: take advantage of the occasion to also pass confidential information.
Arriving at Fiona's residence, Loid finds the agent trying to hide the physical and emotional exhaustion caused by overwork. The tension of the moment is increased by Fiona's effort to maintain a firm, even weakened appearance. She refuses Gerald Gorey's entry and, at great cost, decides to open the door to Loid.
During the brief meeting, Loid mistakenly interprets the visible frustration on Fiona's face as discontent with his presence. He then says goodbye politely, believing he is being inconvenient. The short but impactful dialogue marks a rare moment of explicit concern from Loid:
"Just ... I just wanted to make sure you're okay. Don't try too hard. You've done more than necessary."
Fiona, thrilled, absorbs these words as a sincere gesture of care, something rare from her colleague. Alone again, she recalls the previous advice on not exceeding her own limits and, for the first time, seems willing to listen. While resting, reflects on your decisions and silently admits:
"Maybe ... slowing down it's not that bad."
New release date of Chapter 115 is revealed
With the publication of the extra chapter, the doubt among readers was when Chapter 115 would finally arrive. According to the official website Mangaplus, the new release date is scheduled for April 28, at midnight at Japan time (JST).
For international fans, the premiere will be on April 27, 2025, with the following approximate times:

- 15h00 (GMT) - London time
It is important to highlight that the exact time may vary according to the region and the local time zone.

The work can be read for free on Shueisha official platforms, such as the Mangaplus and the Shonen Jump+application. Already Viz Media, responsible for the official distribution in the US, also offers the chapter on its website.
However, there are differences in access: both Mangapus and Viz Media offer free three and the three most recent chapters of the work. Shonen Jump+ requires paid signature for full catalog access, including the intermediate chapters.
