On social media, the 3rd season of the anime Spy x Family won its first official trailer this Tuesday (9). Therefore, the launch takes place on October 4, 2025 .
The anime is under the joint responsibility of WIT Studio and CloverWorks , directed by Yukiko Imai .
The creative team retains some of its biggest names. Kazuaki Shimada returns as character designer and chief animation director, while Rino Yamazaki takes over series composition. Furthermore, the soundtrack remains under the (K)NoW_NAME , maintaining the musical identity already familiar to fans.
Spy x Family Synopsis
The plot follows spy Twilight , who assumes the identity of Loid Forger to carry out a vital mission: pretending to be a family man and infiltrating an elite school. However, his wife is a professional assassin and his adopted daughter is a telepath—secrets that make the Forgers' lives even more unpredictable.
SPY×FAMILY is a Japanese manga series created by Tatsuya Endo that has garnered millions of fans worldwide. Since March 2019, Shueisha has published the series biweekly on the Shōnen Jump+ app and website, releasing 13 tankōbon volumes through March 2024. In the United States, Viz Media has secured the publishing rights.
Therefore, the anime adaptation, produced by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in April 2022, garnering a huge fan base. The second half premiered in October and December of the same year. The second season, which continued the success of the first, aired from October to December 2023. It was followed by a film titled SPY×FAMILY Code: White in December 2023.
