From this tutorial I will start how to make your AMV (Anime Music Video) project. Starting with the Codecs and installations part, and then moving on to Sony Vegas 11 or current versions.
For those who don't know, Sony Vegas is one of the most used programs in small AMV productions. Example this AMV HERE 100% made on Sony Vegas 10
What do you need to start editing your amvs?
1st- First uninstall any codec pack on the system and install CCCP.
CCCP is a codec pack, but unlike the others it only has the necessary codecs, avoiding conflicts between codecs and crashing your operating system. It was also developed to read practically any type of format found in anime converted by fansubs, DVDs, MKVs and the like.
NOTE: installing more than one codec pack can cause serious conflicts between the codecs, uninstall the entire codec pack before installing another and make sure it has been correctly deleted.
2nd- Tools needed for editing. Download AMVapp where it contains everything in a .zip (20mb) or AMVpack (70mb) the amvapp components have been updated and other components have been added.
Until the next tip. 😉
