Hollywood -produced live-action adaptation of Steins;Gate was confirmed during the Science ADV Live S;G 1010th Anniversary event, held this Sunday in Japan.
The game , which also served as an adaptation of the anime, will be produced by the studio Skydance (Altered Carbon).
There is still no information on the progress of the adaptation project or when it will be released on TV, but Skydance Television also has a live-action adaptation based on the Sword Art Online franchise among its future projects.
The game project was released in 2009 for Xbox 360 and was later ported to PC, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
Steins;Gate 0 was released in April 2018, with a story that takes place after the events of the original game and includes stories from the three Steins;Gate novels.
