The live-action of Steins;Gate Hollywood production was confirmed during the Science ADV Live S;G 1010th Anniversary event, held this Sunday in Japan.
The game that also served to adapt the anime will be produced by the Skydance (Altered Carbon).
There is still no information about the progress of the adaptation project or when it will be released on TV, but Skydance Television also has a live-action adaptation based on the Sword Art Online franchise among its future projects.
The game project was launched in 2009 for Xbox 360 and was later ported to PC, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita.
In April 2018, Steins;Gate 0 debuted, whose story takes place after the events of the original game and includes stories from the three Steins;Gate novels.
