Developer Shift Up will release the action game Stellar Blade for PC on June 11th. The date was revealed in a trailer released ahead of schedule on PlayStation's official YouTube channel. Although Sony quickly removed the video, users downloaded it and shared it on social media, increasing its impact.

Initially announced in February, the PC version includes technical improvements and additional content compared to the console edition. Thus, publisher Shift Up is banking on the title's performance on PC, citing the growth of the Asian market and the strength of single-player games in the segment.

Complete Edition will bring costumes, new enemies and graphical support

In addition to the main campaign, the PC edition will feature 25 new costumes for protagonist Eve and a new boss battle against the cybernetic warrior Mann. Additionally, additional content is expected to accompany the console edition, including a mission pack based on NieR: Automata and a photo mode.

Technical improvements include unlocked frame rate support, high-resolution textures, and compatibility with ultrawide monitors. Upscaling technologies like DLSS 4 and FSR 3 will also be available, as well as support for the DualSense controller.

The PC version will be sold through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Players can pre-order the Complete Edition, which includes all the bonus content and cosmetics released to date.

This edition will include accessories such as Classic Round Glasses, Ear Armor Earrings, and the Planet Diving Suit in white. Additionally, other exclusive items in the complete edition include the Fluffy Beak Pack for the drone and the Planet Diving Suit in Captain version.

Crossover content strengthens partnership with other Shift Up titles

The Complete Edition will also include the Twin Expansion Pack, a bundle of content inspired by the developer's other franchises, such as NieR: Automata and Goddess of Victory: Nikke. These contents expand the player experience with additional visual and narrative elements.

A digital key to unlock Eve's outfit in the mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke will also be available to those who purchase this edition. While not confirmed in the leaked trailer, the simultaneous arrival of this content on PlayStation 5 is likely.

According to Shift Up , the PC version is expected to outsell consoles. The company argues that the increased market share of PCs, combined with the expansion of single-player action games, should boost these numbers.

With its release date set, Stellar Blade joins a growing list of AAA titles that prioritize PC optimizations. Comparisons between the editions are likely to be prominent in post-launch reviews.
