The developer Shift Up will release the action game Stellar Blade for PC on June 11th. The date appeared in a trailer released ahead of time on the official PlayStation YouTube channel. Although Sony quickly removed the video, users downloaded the material and shared the content on social media, amplifying its reach.

Initially announced in February, the PC version includes technical improvements and extra content compared to the console edition. Therefore, publisher Shift Up is betting on the title's performance on PC, citing the growth of the Asian market and the strength of single-player games in that segment.

The complete edition will include costumes, new enemies, and graphical support

In addition to the main campaign, the PC edition will feature 25 new costumes for the protagonist Eve and a new boss battle against the cybernetic warrior Mann. Furthermore, the additional content is expected to accompany the console edition, including the mission pack based on the game NieR: Automata and the photo mode.

Among the technical improvements, highlights include support for unlocked frame rates, high-resolution textures, and compatibility with ultrawide monitors. Upscaling technologies such as DLSS 4 and FSR 3 will also be available, in addition to support for the DualSense controller.

The PC version will be sold through the Steam and Epic Games Store platforms. Players who pre-order will be able to purchase the Complete Edition, which includes all extra content and cosmetics released to date.

This edition will include accessories such as the Classic Round Glasses, Ear Armor Earrings, and the Planet Diving Suit in white. Additionally, other exclusive items in the complete edition include the Fluffy Beak Pack for the drone and the Planet Diving Suit in Captain version.

Cross-content strengthens partnership with other Shift Up titles

The Complete Edition will also include the Twin Expansion Pack, a content package inspired by other franchises from the developer, such as NieR: Automata and Goddess of Victory: Nikke. This content expands the player experience with additional visual and narrative elements.

A digital key to unlock Eve's outfit in the mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke will also be available to those who purchase this edition. Although not confirmed in the leaked trailer, the simultaneous arrival of this content on PlayStation 5 is likely.

According to Shift Up , the expectation is that the PC version will surpass console sales. The company argues that the larger market share of computers, coupled with the expansion of single-player action games, should boost the numbers.

With its release date set, Stellar Blade joins a growing list of AAA titles that prioritize PC optimization. Comparisons between the editions are expected to be prominent in post-release reviews.
