Director and screenwriter Joey Ansah, who helmed the Machinima web series Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist , announced at Capcom's Comic-Con panel that a second season has been greenlit and will happen. Mike Moh (Ryu) and Gaku Space (Goki) were present at the panel.
Jacqueline Quella and Mark Wooding are producing, as they did with the first season, and are already eyeing a late 2015/early 2016 release date. The first season premiered in early 2014 as a 12-part series, receiving over 16 million views.

The new series will feature more than one iconic character from Capcom's game and will pick up where it left off, with Ryu and Ken on their "Musha Shugyo" (warrior's pilgrimage).
Quella said: "We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Capcom, bringing another iconic Street Fighter character to the screen. With Assassin's Fist, we demonstrated an authentic, live-action version of a video game, with a compelling and dramatic storyline. We will take the same approach with the new series."
Fist of the Assassin is being released internationally in Fall 2014 on DVD and Blu-ray formats, as well as on TV.
