Kadokawa has released the first trailer for the second animated OVA of Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow Vol 2: Aegean Umi no Megami second OVA of the Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow project. This second OVA is scheduled to hit screens in Japan on January 10, 2015.
Several Japanese cinemas will be selling bundled tickets with a retail price of ¥1,900 (about US$19). The site is also streaming a new promotional video for the series' first OVA, which will debut next month. The video features the episode's opening theme song, “Connect Link” by Yoko Ishida (Pretear, Ah My Goddess!):
Strike Witches series adapts mecha girl illustrations by Humikane Shimada. The first season of the anime aired in 2008, while the second season aired in 2010. Crunchyroll streamed the second season of the anime as it aired in Japan, and Funimation released the first two seasons on DVD. In addition to the 2012 anime film, in addition to the announcement of a third season last year.
