Kadokawa has released the first trailer for the second animated OVA of Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow Vol 2: Aegean Umi no Megami, the second OVA of the Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow project. This second OVA is scheduled to arrive in Japanese theaters on January 10, 2015.
Several Japanese cinemas will be selling package tickets at the retail price of ¥1,900 (approximately US$19). The website is also streaming a new promotional video for the series' first OVA, which will premiere next month. The video features the episode's opening theme song, "Connect Link" by Yoko Ishida (Pretear, Ah My Goddess!):
Strike Witches series adapts mecha girl illustrations by Humikane Shimada. The first season of the anime aired in 2008, while the second season aired in 2010. Crunchyroll streamed the second season of the anime as it aired in Japan, and Funimation released the first two seasons on DVD. In addition to the 2012 anime film, a third season was announced last year.
