The official website for the anime "Strike Witches" has been updated, revealing that the third season, including an OVA, has been greenlit this weekend. The announcement was made during a strike in the middle of a Halloween event in Tokyo.

Strike Witches adapts a mecha-girl adventure illustrated by Humikane Shimada . The first season of the anime aired in 2008, while the second season hit theaters in 2010. Additionally, an anime film adaptation premiered in Japan last year.
