The classic Subway Surfers is ready to take a new leap. SYBO has officially announced Subway Surfers City , a sequel arriving globally on February 26th , bringing a complete reimagining of the runner released in 2012. The announcement included a cinematic trailer.

This time, players race through Subway City , a vibrant and sprawling metropolis. The map will feature four initial districts: The Docks, Southline, Sunrise Blvd, and Delorean Park. Each area offers its own routes, unique challenges, and greater freedom of exploration, so the pace of the matches varies considerably.

New mechanics in Subway Surfers City

Furthermore, the visuals have received clear improvements, with more detailed animations and dynamic environments. Meanwhile, new mechanics come into play, such as speed pads, stomping to reveal hidden bonuses, and a bouncy shield that expands jumping options.

Regarding Gameplay

On the other hand, the gameplay is now divided into three modes. Classic Endless maintains the traditional endless run. City Tour focuses on stages with specific objectives. Finally, the Events will bring temporary challenges to test skill and strategy.

According to SYBO, the game will receive constant seasonal updates, including new neighborhoods, characters, outfits, and hoverboards. This way, the experience remains fresh over time.

Subway Surfers City will be free to play on iOS and Android, with optional in-app purchases.
