Suisei no Gargantia website has been updated and brought news about the long-awaited ova titled Suisei no Gargantia ~Meguru Kōro, Haruka (Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet).
Last year it was announced that the series would get a new season, this was denied after the announcement of the OVA which will be divided into two parts. The first is to be released at the end of the year.
The ova will introduce the character Reema, a rookie courier transferred from the Kugel ship. She is 13 years old and works under Amy's command. The character Ledo continues as a Yunboro pilot for Bellows.
