Bandai Visual 's official YouTube channel has released the full trailer for the highly anticipated Suisei no Gargantia titled Meguru Kōro, Haruka-on. The trailer features new character Reema , voiced by Inori Minase, and the theme song "Hajimari no Tsubasa" (First Wing) by TRUE.
The website revealed the story of the OVA, the new cast members and returning staff.
Ledo now lives his new life with his comrades aboard the Gargantia fleet, working as a member of the salvage team working to recover fragments of human civilization. Reema, a girl who used to be part of the Cugel fleet, appears next. After Ledo and Reema meet, Ledo reflects on his former life in the military and how the life he now lives aboard the Gargantia is completely different.
Kazuya Murata will direct the OVA series at Production I.G. Nitroplus. Gen Urobuchi is supervising the story, and Daishiro Tanimura is handling the script. Hanaharu Naruko is designing the characters, and Masako Tashiro is adapting Naruko's designs for animation, also serving as chief animation director.
