The first trailer for the series “ SuperGirl ” was released, lasting around 6 minutes, on the CBS .
The series will feature Danvers (Melissa Benoist), or Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, and Alexandra “Alex” Danvers (Chyler Leigh), Kara's Earthling sister.
The story takes place when Kara arrives on Earth at the age of 12, after leaving the planet Krypton, and is adopted by the Danvers family – who teach her to be careful with her powers. After holding back her abilities for a decade, Kara is forced to display her gifts in public during an unexpected disaster.
The premiere takes place between September and November on CBS.
