Makoto Shinkai film " Suzume no Tojimari " has a new promotional image . According to reports, the film is participating in the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival. Its last nomination was 21 years ago with Hayao Miyazaki .

In Brazil, the film will be distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment . Suzume hits Brazilian theaters on April 13th of this year.
Synopsis
The story centers on Suzume, a 17-year-old girl from a quiet town in Kyuushuu who meets a young man searching for a door. They find a door inside mountain ruins, and Suzume opens it. Soon, more doors begin to open around Japan, bringing disasters from the other side. The film depicts Suzume's liberation and growth as she closes the doors that are causing disaster.
Ultimately, the team planned the project from January to March 2020, developed the script from April to August of that same year, and wrote the scripts from September 2020 to December 2021. Actual production of the animation only began in April 2022.
