We have a new anime by Makoto Shinkai ( Kimi no Na wa , Tenki no Ko ) heading to theaters in 2022 . According to information, Suzume no Tojimari is the new film by the Japanese director and screenwriter.

Synopsis:
Suzume, a 17-year-old girl who lives in a quiet town in Kyushu (Nagasaki and Fukuoka Region), ends up meeting a young traveler who says he is looking for an old door in the mountain ruins, as if it were the only one left.
Therefore, the direction and script is by Makoto Shinkai CWF studio , character 'designer' by Masayoshi Tanaka ( Your Name, Time with You ), Takumi Tanji ( Your Name ) art direction and Kenichi Tsuchiya ( Your Name ) does the animation. Distribution is by TOHO .
Finally, the new film has already got an official website . Shinkai began writing the script for Suzume no Tojimari at the beginning of the pandemic.
