anime fans, Japan Expo, the trailer for the third season of Sword Art Online, titled Sword Art Online: Alicization, was revealed.
This new season will take place at the A-1 Pictures studio and will be directed by Manabu Ono and animation designed by Shingo Adachi .

The SAO project began with the light novel series being written by Reki Kawahara with illustrations by abec. The series spawned ten manga series adaptations published by ASCII Media Works and Kadokawa.
In the meantime, in Brazil there were manga adaptations that were published by Panini Comics. In 2012, it received an anime produced by A-1 Pictures, with an extra episode called Extra Edition aired on December 31, 2013, followed by a second season titled Sword Art Online II aired between July and December 2014.
In addition to several games for Sony platforms, an animated film titled Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale with an original story written by Kawahara premiered in Japan and Southeast Asia on February 18, 2017.
